Helix Reports Record Quarterly Revenue and Gross Profit

Helix reported second quarter net income of $90.9 million, or $0.96 per diluted share. This compares to net income of $57.7 million, or $0.61 per diluted share, reported for the second quarter of 2007, and net income of $74.3 million, or $0.79 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2008.

Helix Enters into Frame Agreement with StatoilHydro for Trenching Services

Helix Energy Solutions (NYSE:HLX) announced today that its subsidiary Canyon Offshore has signed a Frame Agreement with StatoilHydro for provision of trenching services offshore Norway.
