Helix completes Thunder Hawk PLET installation in deepwater GOM

Helix successfully completed installation of two 86-ton pipeline-end-termination (PLET) modules as a prelude to the initiation of production of Murphy Oil Co.’s Thunder Hawk development in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

Helix Producer I Arrives in Gulf of Mexico

The floating production unit Helix Producer I (HPI) arrived in the Gulf of Mexico on May 5, continuing preparations for oil and gas production on Helix’s Phoenix deepwater field in the first quarter of 2010.
