Helix Energy Solutions is a marine energy service company providing alternate solutions to the oil and gas industry for marginal development, alternative development plans, field-life extension, abandonment and salvage. Our business scope is worldwide, with operational capabilities ranging from shallow water to 10,000 FSW, and on-going projects in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea and Asia/Pacific regions.

Helix service lines include marine construction, diving through Cal Dive, robotics, well operations, facilities ownership, well and subsurface consulting and oil and gas production. We are well equipped to serve our industry, offering a diversified fleet of 27 vessels, 3 pipe lay barges and 26 remotely-operated vehicles (ROV) and trenching systems, complimented by a consulting division, Helix RDS, with more than 150 industry-recognized well and subsurface experts. The total Helix capability means we are able to select, define and execute drilling, well completion, intervention, construction and decommissioning projects.

With the completion of the drilling upgrade of the Q4000 vessel, Helix will be able to identify, drill, develop, maintain and finally abandon its own reservoirs with the status of operator.
