A business unit of Helix, Well Ops provides a wide range of well operation and decommissioning services with specialist vessels and innovative equipment. Well Ops asset's include two purpose built vessels, mobile and well control systems and a third vessel - the Well Enhancer - due to enter service in 2008.

The Seawell riserless well intervention vessel is based in the North Sea with a strong track record of operations in all national sectors. Well Ops' flagship the Q4000, is a unique multi service vessel capable of operating in water depths to 10,000 feet, with live well intervention experience already gained in 6,500 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico.

Well Ops also operates specialist subsea well intervention and abandonment equipment from its bases in Perth Australia, Aberdeen and Houston.
