Assets
Production Facilities Assets include the Helix Producer I, Marco Polo TLP and the Independence Hub Semi Submersible.
The Helix Producer I is a ship-shaped floating production unit (FPU) with a disconnectable riser transfer system that is currently being developed by Helix. This innovative vessel will be the first ship-shaped dynamically positioned FPU used in the Gulf of Mexico and is planned for first deployment at the Helix-ERT Phoenix development at GC 237. The FPU will have a process package capable of producing 30,000 BOPD, 70MMSCFD, and 50,000 BWPD and is expected to be deployed initially in 2008.
The Marco Polo (GC 608) TLP is a good example of a HUB facility. This facility is 50% owned by Helix and the development project was executed in accordance with the Production Contracting philosophy discussed in our Services section. Operator Anadarko operates this facility and has been aggressive in working with other producers to tie-back several area discoveries to the platform.
Another Production Facilities asset is the Independence Hub Semi-Submersible which is located at MC 920 in 8,000 feet of waterCF per day of gas. Heli and capable of producing 1 Bx owns 20% of this production facility. The floating production facility (shown at right) is the deepest floater in the world.
