Developing Our People

Our growing technical staff team, which is based in our offices in Aberdeen, London, KL and Perth is currently almost 150 strong.

We recruit only the very best from the many hundreds of job applications we receive each year. From the day a new individual joins the company, we work with them to jointly plan and monitor progress towards their professional development aspirations. These are achieved in a number of ways.

• The primary route is through the opportunity to work on, or manage a wide variety of challenging projects at different stages in the field lifecycle for different clients. At each stage the individual is mentored and assisted by experienced peers and is provided with access to knowledge accrued on similar projects.
• Our peer review process, which occurs at key milestones throughout each project, also provides an excellent development opportunity for reviewees and reviewers alike.
• Formal technical training is also provided, along with report writing, soft skills and leadership development training as required. In some cases, we also support staff who wish to pursue relevant university distance learning courses.
