Specialist Geophysics

The Helix RDS Specialist Geophysics Team are staff professionals with extensive experience in seismic acquisition, seismic processing and geophysical reservoir characterisation. The team provides geophysical consultancy and project management services to both Helix RDS CoreTeams™ and external clients. They add significant value to seismic interpretation projects using leading industry technology and innovative products developed in-house.

The Specialist Geophysics team attended the June 2008 EAGE Rome Conference.

Steve Helmore presented a poster paper entitled 'Arbroath: An integrated petrophysical and seismic elastic inversion process for de-risking infill drilling targets in a mature North Sea oilfield.
