Comprehensive Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Services
Canyon Offshore has established an extensive fleet of proven deepwater ROV systems in order to meet the needs of our clients. Through our investment in new technologies, we aim to offer the best possible, cost effective service and equipment in the marketplace, increasing the boundaries and establishing new areas of innovative ROV operations. Canyon is experienced in all aspcets of ROV services globally including:

Dynamically Positioned ROV Support Vessles
canyon's fleet of Dynamically Positioned DP2 ROV Support Vessels support operations in construction, survey and trenching activities on a global basis. The most recent fleet addition, the Island Pioneer, is a new build multi-role support vessel that provides a superior platform for a variety of general construction and trenching tasks. Each vessel is equipped with our own ROV equipment, operated and maintained by our own experienced personnel, to suit the operations undertaken. Canyon presently operates the following vessels:
- Island Pioneer

- Olympic Canyon
- Seacor Canyon

Umbilical and Flowline Trenching Services
Canyon is the world’s leading contractor for ROV based burial of pipelines for Flow Assurance purposes in deepwater, and especially for deepwater subsea tieback projects. Canyon leads the industry in deepwater flowline burial by leveraging extensive experience in deepwater cable trenching and investing in the latest trenching equipment technologies. Canyon’s Supertrencher I and 600-hp Supertrencher II delivered represent the state of the art for deepwater flowline burial. The Supertrencher I holds the world record for flowline burial in deepwater at 3,400 fsw.
Canyon’s fleet of purpose built trenchers,are available to trench, backfill and complete deepwater flowline projects in depths up to 2,500m (8,000 feet). The trenchers operate in tracked, free fly or pipe follow mode. Unique jetting and backfill tooling systems allow each project to be customized based on project soil conditions and trench results desired.

Submarine Cable Protection Services
Canyon is the world's largest independent provider of submarine cable protection services. Canyon’s services extend over the entire life of submarine cable installation, from post lay inspection and trenching to cable maintenance and reburial. Specifically, these services include:
- Post lay inspection and burial (PLIB) of submarine cables in water depths to 2,160m (7,200 feet)
- Deep burial of submarine cables to three meters
- Specialized ROV services to support submarine cable maintenance, repair and reburial
- Debris clearance and cable manipulation
- Customized tooling packages to accommodate specific challenges associated with soil and seabed conditions and external factors such as anchors and fishing equipment.
Tooling and Intervention Services
Tooling and Intervention Services are offered to support subsea activities, including conceptual designs, manufacture and assembly and operational procedures and documentation.

Technical Manpower and Project Management Services
Canyon provides Technical Manpower and Project Management Services to clients with their own ROV asset base, including system operation, maintenance and procurement assistance.
