2008-10 HELIX GROUP QHSE TARGETS & OBJECTIVES ULTIMATE GOAL = ZERO INCIDENTS

QHSE Performance Targets

• Helix Group Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) Target is .37
• BSP Participation = 1 observation card per person per week
• Improve Near Miss reporting by 20% over previous year’s work site total
• 2 Hazard Hunts per month at all offshore/field work sites
• 2 QHSE Team meetings per month at all work sites
• Office Hazard Hunts once every 6 months as minimum
• Line Manager work site visits = 1 per month per manager
• QHSE Internal Auditing of work sites = 1 every six months 
• MOC Exercise or Actual MOC = minimum 1 per quarter
• JSA Desktop Audits = 1 per quarter per work site

QHSE Management Objectives

• Quarterly Executive QHSE Steering Team Meetings
• Monthly Business Unit (BU) QHSE Leadership Team Meetings
• BU publish annual QHSE Improvement Plans and track progress quarterly
• BU to set TRIR target with significant improvement over preceding year
• Implement Global Incident Management Software (GIMS) company wide
• Track preventative actions from incidents to closure
• Promote Last Minute Risk Assessment (“Take 2”) for all personnel
• Develop enhanced BSP program with refresher training
• Company QHSE Posters for all work locations
• Improved QHSE communications via use of SharePoint
• Promote environmental protection awareness
• Participation in industry associations that benefit QHSE
• Recognize work sites that achieve milestones without OSHA recordable incidents and meet their leading performance indicator metrics
